Mr. Korte's Class held a mock election today to parallel this year's upcoming election on Nov. 5th. Students in 5th-8th completed a full cycle of the voting process, from registration to casting their own ballots. It's time for the Patriot's Pen Essay Contest! This youth essay competition gives 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students an opportunity to write essays expressing their views on an annual patriotic theme. Prizes and scholarships are available to students based on entry into this particular contest. Essays can be dropped off at the SJHS office by Friday, October 31 - no later.
