As we move into the second semester, please make every effort to make attendance a priority. The second semester is a busy time with Illinois State required testing, PROM, graduation, promotion, etc. We want to make sure that students are in school and preparing to close out the year in a positive manner.
The district also receives a portion of our overall rating from the state from student attendance. If possible, please schedule doctor appointments and vacations to a time that does not interfere with your student being able to attend their classes. We understand that situations arise and we do not want you to send your child to school if they are suffering from illness.
We are excited to work with families and students for a successful completion to the school year and we are requesting your cooperation helping with your children’s success by having them be present for the second semester. Our attendance numbers have greatly improved and we have you to thank for that.

We enjoyed seeing our CNA students complete their pinning ceremony tonight. It was the culmination of a LOT of hard work! Congrats!!
