🏈 Homecoming Football Tonight—Parking Information / Gate Entrances! 🐾
Staunton families and community members, we look forward to seeing you tonight as we cheer on our Bulldogs! Please review the attached map and the parking and entry information below to help plan your arrival.
🚗 Designated Parking
Parking areas are outlined in RED on the map and include the far north lot near the soccer fields across from Livingston Pipe & Tube, the center high school lot, and the south lot.
🚌 Shuttle Service
A shuttle will be provided from the far north lot:
Beginning 30 minutes before kickoff through 30 minutes after kickoff.
Resuming 30 minutes before the end of the game through 30 minutes after the game ends.
♿ Accessible Parking
Designated accessible parking will be available in the center high school lot on a first-come, first-served basis for vehicles displaying an accessible parking placard.
🚶 Entry from the South Lot
Guests parking in the south lot may enter through the community room doors and follow posted signs to exit toward the multipurpose building and main track entrance. Stadium gates are marked in YELLOW on the map.

Staunton High School Families:
On Monday, October 19, 2026, high school students and staff will be participating in an E-Learning Day.
As construction continues on the high school auxiliary gymnasium and auditorium, the crews are placing the preformed concrete panels that will serve as the walls. Out of an abundance of caution, the crew has requested that the new 2-story high school addition be vacant during this process. Today, October 13, 2026, high school students will be released for the day when they are dismissed for lunch at 11:50 AM.
The construction crew is currently placing preformed concrete panels that will serve as the walls of the new gymnasium. Out of an abundance of caution, the crew has requested that the new high school addition be vacant during this process. The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority.
Students who need to ride the bus home or wait for a ride may remain in a safe location in the north building of the high school until normal dismissal time this afternoon. Bus transportation home will be available at the regular time.
As this construction work progresses, the high school may need to utilize an E-Learning Day in the near future. The district will communicate any updates and necessary instructions to students and families as soon as that information is available.

This is a reminder that students entering Preschool, Kindergarten, Sixth Grade, Ninth Grade, and Twelfth Grade must have their medical requirements up to date and on file in order to remain in attendance in school.
The deadline to provide required documentation is TWO WEEKS AWAY - October 15, 2026.
Students who do not have the required immunizations or documentation on file by this date may not be permitted to remain in school until the requirements are met.
If your child has already completed the medical requirements and submitted documentation to the school, no further action is needed. You can send via email to ahughes@stauntonschools.org and afeldmann@stauntonschools.org, or turn paper documents into the main offices.
If you have questions about your child's medical requirements, please contact the health office as soon as possible.

Attention Sophomores and Parents/Guardians: SCI will be having an Open House. We know you just started the 10th grade, but it is never too early to begin preparing for what it is that you think you might want to do once out of high school. SCI is the perfect place to get advanced training. See the flyer and call the high school or SCI Center if you would like additional information.
🎶The Staunton JHS music department recently received a grant award of $1000 from the Peter R. Marsh Foundation. Funds can be used to purchase items such as instruments, music, curriculum, and performance attire. Pictured are choral director, Rebekah Schaffer and principal, Ryan Pirok.

Junior high baseball at Gillespie is canceled for today
Junior high and high school cross-country at Carlinville is canceled for today. High school cross-country is rescheduled at Carlinville for September 8.
Boys and girls golf is canceled for today.
Junior high softball at Greenville is moved to a 7 PM start time at Jaycee Park.
Boys soccer versus Robinson for Wednesday has been canceled.
Boys soccer at Newton on Thursday has been moved to a 6:30 start time.
Attention, Staunton Community!
Beginning the morning of Friday, September 4th, bricks from the old high school building will be available for pickup in the north high school parking lot. Bricks will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
Because the quantity is limited, we respectfully ask that each person take only a few bricks so that as many community members as possible have an opportunity to receive one.
Those taking bricks may make a donation to the Staunton Education Foundation if they wish; however, donations are completely optional.
