Beginning this week, all students in grades 3-8 will participate in the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR), which is the state mandated assessment that is administered each spring. The attached graphic offers simple yet helpful tips for students, which will best prepare them to perform at their highest level. Last, linked for you below are the testing letters from Mrs. Davis (elementary) and Mr. Pirok (junior high), which provide more details regarding the IAR. Good luck to all students testing this week!

🎒📚It's time for the Class of 2038 to register for kindergarten! If your child will turn 5 years old on or before September 1, 2025, we invite you to our registration event on April 30. You and your child are able to get registered, tour a kindergarten classroom, and get information from the office, nurses, transportation staff, and the cafeteria.
We will have registration paperwork available at school, but you can also click the link below to print the paperwork and have it filled out ahead of time.

Superhero 5K coming soon! Here is your chance to sign up for our 3K/5K as a Plus-One or Participant, as well as get a custom ordered Superhero 5K shirt. The QR code will direct you to the T-Shirt Shop, while the link below will allow you to register your student and yourself for our 3K/5K race. We will be chip timing our race this year for those going the full 5K distance, so if you plan to run, please complete the Google Form!

It is with great honor & remembrance to announce that the late Coach Larry Caldieraro Jr.(Coach Cal) will be inducted to the Illinois High School Football Coaching Hall of Fame at the end of this month. He was a staple in the Staunton football program, school, as well as the community! We have continued thoughts for his family, and wish this post to be a celebration of his dedication to Staunton Schools.
