The Honor Guard, in its inaugural year, graced the students with the presentation of colors as they marched through the halls of SCUSD #6. One could hear a pin drop as they made their way through. THANK YOU Staunton CUSD #6 residents for voting on the bond proposal. Unofficial results from the election showed 56.53% voting in favor of the proposal in Macoupin County and 56.16% voting in favor of the proposal in Madison County. A 50% majority was required for the measure to pass. The bond issue will fund projects to address critical facility needs, with a primary focus on the high school. Updated classrooms and labs will be built to improve the learning environment for students. The improvements will also include enhanced safety and accessibility.
