This program provided training to a pilot group of teachers last semester on the benefits of conducting home visits with our families. Boys’ Soccer Gives Back to SHS! Recently, the Staunton High School Boys’ Soccer Team was honored to award Staunton High School Principal, Mr. Brett Allen, with a check for ten percent of the total funds raised by the team this past season to be deposited into the Education Fund. The team had an incentive-based fundraiser in which the players received donations based upon their performance throughout the season. The fundraiser was called “Goals for a Goal,” and the premise behind it was quite simple – the more goals scored, the more money raised.
The team would like to thank all of the individuals who donated and a special thanks to all of the local businesses that contributed to the fundraiser this year!
