Meals can be picked up in the Bus Lane on the Staunton Schools campus or at the Bus Garage in Livingston. 6th - 12th Grade Families: Beginning Monday, August 24th - Friday, August 28th, during our Full Remote Learning week, the Multi-Purpose Gym will be open to 48 students to come in and work on their device if they have no internet access capability outside of school. This is only for students in 6th-12th grade. Students will be allowed to enter the Multi-Purpose Gym at 8:00 AM and work until 12:30 PM if needed. All students must wear a mask. All students will have their temperature taken before entering the building. All students will be appropriately social distanced. Students MUST bring their school issued device. NO student can attend if they have received a Quarantine Order from the Health Department. Once the maximum number of students is reached, no other students will be allowed to enter. Reservations are on a first come first serve basis. If your child is planning to come to the Multi-Purpose Gym, please RSVP using the linked Google Form below. Staunton Families: All students who are electively remote learning this school year need to stop by the school between 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM on Monday, August 17th. Staff will be distributing electronic devices and materials to students and their families. Distribution will take place at the library entrance doors of the school district. Staunton Families: If you have chosen for your child to participate as an elective remote learner to start the school year, please review the information below to pick up a device for your student. All 3rd - 12th grade students who need a device for elective remote learning should drive up to the library entrance of the school on Monday, August 10th between the hours of 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM and you will receive a Chromebook. All K - 2nd grade students who need a device for elective remote learning should drive up to the library entrance of the school on Monday, August 17th between the hours of 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM and you will receive an iPad. Additionally, any elementary student who ordered a school supply box will receive it when he/she picks up a device. Online registration is completed using Skyward Family access. SHS Students and Families: The 2020 Staunton High School Prom and Graduation Ceremony that have been scheduled for the month of July are cancelled. Unfortunately, after consulting with the Health Department and reviewing the Restore Illinois Plan from the Governor’s Office, both events will exceed the allowable number of people to gather in a location as we move into Phase 4. This decision is being made to ensure the safety and well-being of our students and families, which is a top priority for the Staunton School District. We appreciate your understanding during these challenging times and recognize that this is disappointing for our Class of 2020 graduates.
