Helping Hands & Adopt-a-Pet Donations & Holiday Hike!
Dear Parents & Guardians,
On Monday, December 19th (weather pending), 5th-8th Grade students registered to take the Holiday Hike will deliver goods to the aforementioned Non-Profit organizations. Registration is due TONIGHT by midnight. Please see the attached PDF documents for information about the hike and donations. This information was given to students one week ago today. Since that time, students registered for the hike have been training for the big day.
Please note, we encourage all students to consider a small donation to both organizations. On the attached documents you will find lists of items that both organizations badly need. If each one of us donates just a small amount, our school can make a huge difference for the success of these wonderful programs. On these dates, please consider bringing your donations to the school gym lobby and putting the items under the tree first thing in the morning. Donation Days: Thursday, December 8th, Monday, December 12th, & Thursday, December 15th. Please see the attached information and consider helping these causes this holiday season! Thank you!
Congratulations to the 7th grade girls basketball team on a great season! The Lady Terriers, led by Coach Clark, won their regional and sectional championships! Attention Junior High Volleyball
6th grade tryouts will now take place in the community room on Monday, November 28th from 3:15-4:15 and on Wednesday, November 30th in the old gym at the same time.
If you are a 6th grader that is part of the 7th grade basketball team, you will come to the 7th grade tryouts in the old gym from 4:15-5:30 that Monday.
8th grade tryouts will now be held on Wednesday, November 30th in the old gym from 4:15-5:30 and Thursday, December 1st in the multi purpose gym from 3:15-4:15.

Last night the 7th Grade Lady Terriers basketball team finished their regular season at a perfect 19-0 with a 25-12 win over Greenville. They finish the season as Conference champions and have clinched the #1 seed for the regional tournament. The Terriers have received a bye for the first round of play and will play in the second round on Monday (11/21) at 6:00pm.
Staunton Families: The Macoupin County Public Health Department is hosting a Dental Clinic December 6th - December 8th at Staunton Schools in the Mobile Dental Unit. This will only be for families who are receiving Medicaid Benefits. Please click the link below for the registration form. The form is due to the office by Wednesday, November 30th.
