Students from Staunton High School and Staunton Junior High School have been preparing for their production of Starmites, Lite. This musical revolves around a shy teenager, Eleanor, who creates a fantasy world involving characters from her comic book collection. Along the way she meets Spacepunk and the Starmites, Diva and the Banshee warriors, and Shak Graa, the ultimate super villain. Performances are Friday, March 25th and Saturday, March 26th at 7PM in the SHS auditorium. Doors open at 6:30 for both performances. Tickets can be bought in advance at the Staunton High School office, or at the door before each performance. Tickets are $5 each. #BulldogPride #TerrierPride #LeadChallengeAchieve

The most updated forecast from the National Weather Service continues to predict that a mixed precipitation of freezing rain and sleet will move into our school district mid day. As a result, the Staunton School District is transitioning to a 11:30 AM Dismissal Schedule for Thursday, February 24, 2022.
All extracurricular activities scheduled for this evening are also cancelled.
There will be no afternoon Pre-Kindergarten or ECE class today (2/24/22).
