Check out our future entrepreneurs! 🎉 Sixth grade ELA students wrapped up the year with their 🦈💡 Shark Tank 💡🦈 projects. Students were challenged to come up with an invention to solve a problem at school and wowed us with ideas such as: - Combo Solvers - The Carrier Cache - Lockermate - The Cushion Carrier - The Lazy Chair and many other innovative creations! From concept to pitch, they demonstrated creativity, confidence, and critical thinking — presenting their product to our panel of “sharks” (aka administrators, teachers, and staff) with professionalism and passion. Bravo, 6th graders! 👏 https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1ErPj1UtHA/ #TerrierPride #LeadChallengeAchieve

Friday at approximately 10 a.m. (before practice) we will have the Parade of Graduates as we have done in years past. We need Seniors here at 9:45 a.m. WITH their caps and gowns. Students will be encouraged to come out and cheer on our graduates as the drumline escorts them in front of the school (pending good weather). If weather becomes an issue, we will move it inside. Parents are welcome to come and cheer on the Class of 2025! Students MUST be in attendance at practice in order to participate in the ceremony on Sunday. #LeadChallengeAchieve

The Fan Club Dinner & Dance is next Friday, May 9th from 6-9 PM at the multi-purpose room. The dinner is limited to Fan Club members only (admission was included in your membership!), but the dance will be open to any SJHS student beginning at 7pm! Non Fan Club members wishing to attend the dance must pay the $10 entrance fee to Mrs. Schulte by Wednesday, May 7th. Money will NOT be accepted at the door. Students that plan on attending must be in attendance at school that day. Please note that it will be treated as a lock-in, which means once students arrive they are not permitted to leave the dance until 9 PM, unless there is an emergency. If you need your child to leave before 9 PM on Friday, please message Mrs. Schulte (sschulte@stauntonschools.org) prior to the event, so that we can generate a list and make the chaperones aware of their early departure. In order to avoid traffic behind the school, please drop off and pick up your student near the bus lane on Deneen. The bus lane doors will be open for them when they arrive and depart. #TerrierPride #LeadChallengeAchieve
